We're Thrilled to be the Dallas Venue for the 2016 MGM Resorts International Recipe Showdown

Each year, MGM Grand Resorts invites meeting planners, event managers and others to compete in a nationwide recipe showdown. The goal is to celebrate food, hospitality and good old fashioned competition. This year, we are proud to announce the Dallas regional event event will be held Tuesday, August 16 at Team Building with Taste. More than 40 contestants will use our state-of-the-art culinary facilities to make their recipes, win the hearts and stomachs of the judges and compete for a chance to go the finals in Las Vegas.

The grand prize winner will receive an all expense paid trip to Miami to attend the South Beach Food and Wine Festival February 22-26, 2017.

Last year’s winning recipe was the Seattle Salmon Bowl from Lori Brennan in Seattle. Coming in a close second was Spanish style white fish stew from Nancy Nachman of Salt Lake City.
